Oxfam America GROW Dinner will be held on Oct. 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Independent Space in Kutztown. Free to all Kutztown University students and community members.
Join the conversation about our global food system at a free local, organic, and sustainable dinner with conversation and guest speakers.
On a planet that provides more than enough food for everyone, why do nearly one billion still go hungry?
Join our discussion on how you can take personal actions that will make the food system more just and sustainable. We’re calling it the GROW method - 5 principles for feeding the planet.
Guest speakers will include Congressman Charles Dent, Nigerian Food Heroine, Ms. Susan Goldwin, Oxfam America Staff members, and representatives from the Women’s Agricultural Network.
An RSVP is required as space is limited.
Please RSVP to hungerhomelessness@kutztown.edu or stop by the Community Outreach Center, MSU 281.
This event is open to all KU students and community members.
