Mr. and Mrs. Roy A. and Fern M. Kline Sr. of Maxatawny Township celebrated their 50th anniversary.
They were married on Sept. 29, 1962 in Zion Moselem Lutheran Church, Richmond Township, by the late Rev. Reuben Rhody.
Kline, the son of the late William and Carrie Kline, is retired from Kutztown University.
Fern, a daughter of the late George E. and Irene F. Adam, is retired from Kutztown School District.
They have two children, Roylene, wife of Anthony Jarrett, Mertztown; and Roy Allen Jr., husband of Michele (Fick), Reading.
There are four grandsons, Andrew and Aaron Jarrett, Cody and Tanner Kline.
The couple celebrated their 50th anniversary with a family dinner, and a trip to Lyoming, Elk County.
