Optimist Club hosts Senior Citizens’ Dinner

The Optimist Club Of Kutztown, in cooperation with the Kutztown Grange, will host the Annual Senior Citizens’ Dinner on Sunday, Dec. 2. Dinner will be held at Kutztown Grange Hall at 5 p.m., with doors opening at 4 p.m.

There will be entertainment and awards after dinner.

All Senior Citizens, age 75 and older residing within the Borough of Kutztown, are invited to attend free of charge. Those who attended last year’s dinner will receive a call from the Optimist Club.

Kutztown residents who have reached 75 and have never attended the dinner, and desire to do so, should contact Andy Schlegel at 610-683-3743. Senior Citizens may bring a guest who is not age 75 or does not live in the Borough of Kutztown. However the guest will be asked to pay $12 for their meal.

The Optimist Club will provide transportation to and from the dinner upon request.
