Anniversary Notice: Meck’s celebrate 60th

Franklin and Pearl (Kauffman) Meck, Longswamp Township, celebrated 60 years of marriage on Nov. 8.

The couple was married by the late Rev. Wilson Hartzel and Rev. Roy Meck at St. Paul’s Union Church, Longswamp, on Nov. 8, 1952.

Franklin and Pearl celebrated their anniversary with friends at a worship service followed by a private dinner.

Franklin is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Meck, Longswamp. He is a retired test technician at Air Products and Chemicals.

Pearl is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kauffman, Mertztown. She volunteered at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Morgan Cancer Center.

Their children are Darrell and his wife Diane; Bruce and his wife Jane, Longswamp; Leslie and his wife Debra, Fleetwood; Benjamin and his wife Cindy; Joseph and wife Denise, Fleetwood; and James and wife Jennifer, Topton. There are 17 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
