Kutztown musicians Cecily Ryan and Amanda Miller have been selected to represent Kutztown at the 2013 P.M.E.A. District 10 Band Festival Jan. 23 to 26 at Conrad Weiser High School.
The District Band Festival features the finest high school musicians from Pike, Monroe, Carbon, Schuylkill, Northampton, Lehigh, and Berks counties. They will be under the direction of guest conductor Dr. William Kenney, Professor and Chair of the Department of Music at Bucknell University.
Amanda is a junior and plays the bassoon. She is the daughter of daughter of Duane and Louise Miller. Cecily is a junior who plays the french horn. She is the daughter of Donald and Christine Ryan.
The concert will be on Saturday, Jan. 26 at 2:30 p.m. at the Conrad Weiser High School auditorium.
