Fleetwood Police
Jan. 16: at 11:19 p.m., a Fleetwood resident in the 200 block of West Poplar Street reported suspicious males on his property and another property. According to Fleetwood Police, the resident believed the men were attempting to steal copper from MetEd utility poles. The resident confronted the men verbally. In response, the men threatened to shoot him. A red laser was pointed in the resident’s direction during the verbal threat, according to the police report. The suspicious males were reported running east on the railroad tracks.
A short time later, Fleetwood officers located and detained two male suspects, Paul Losinger Jr., 39, and Cody Grandjean, 22, both of Reading. Both were found to have outstanding warrants.
Follow up investigation showed that the two men were actively involved in stealing copper ground wire from MetEd utility poles in Fleetwood Borough and Richmond Township. Multiple MetEd utility poles were damaged. The damage estimate has not yet been determined.
Both Losinger and Grandjean were charged with criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, trespass, receiving stolen property and theft. Additionally, Lonsinger was charged with terroristic threats.
Between Dec. 20 and Jan. 13, Fleetwood Borough Police Department responded to 168 totalincidents.

Dec. 13 to 24: police report a theft of items from a mailbox on Skyview Drive in Lenhartsville occurred between Dec. 13 and Dec. 24. Three confirmed deliveries were removed from the mailbox, including gift cards for iTunes, Target and Lowes, totaling about $100.
