Heinz 57 and orange marmalade seemed like a very enticing combination for a chicken dish. When Lorraine Cochrane, Fleetwood, told me about this combination, I looked forward to giving it a taste. It was just what I expected and even better. The spice of the Heinz 57 paired up with the sweetness of the orange marmalade made the chicken tender and the sauce was not as tangy as traditional sweet & sour sauce. I recommend doubling the recipe and freezing some for a future quick meal!

Chicken L’Orange
1/3 cup Heinz 57 sauce

4 skinless, boneless chicken breasts

2 tbsp. butter
2 teaspoons cornstarch

RELATED ASSETS

2/3 cup of orange juice
¼ cup orange marmalade

Lightly flatten chicken breasts. In skillet, slowly sauté chicken in butter – about 4-5 minutes per side. Season with salt and pepper.

Remove chicken, set aside.
Dissolve cornstarch in OJ, stir in Heinz 57 sauce and marmalade.

Pour into skillet. Heat, stirring constantly until mixture boils.

Return chicken to skillet, heat.

Spoon sauce over chicken. Serve with rice.
