Soup and Meditation Lunch: There will be a soup and meditation lunch every Tuesday at noon during Lent starting February 19th. Please come and join us. All are welcome.

St. Patrick’s Breakfast: On March 9 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., there will be a St. Patrick’s Day breakfast in the fellowship hall. The menu includes AYCE pancakes with a single serving of sausage or corned beef hash. Also included are single servings of eggs, potatoes, toast, and beverage. Minimal cost for the breakfast. Free for children 3 and under. Come join us!

This week at Salem Church: Our Early Worship was at 8:30 a.m., our Late Worship was at 10:45 a.m., and Sunday School was at 9:30 a.m. Pastor Dave Long presented the message “Jonah’s Journey” based on Jonah 1. Our Early Service greeter was Wayne Adam. Our Late Service greeters were Jim and Gale Pyle. Our nursery attendant was Kolleen Long and our Junior Church leader was Yvonne Mollica.

Upcoming Events: Our Early Worship is at 8:30 a.m., and our Late Worship is at 10:45 a.m., with Sunday School for all ages at 9:30 a.m. Men’s Group is Monday at 7 p.m. Come to our Annual Indoor Yard Sale March 1 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and March 2 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Wednesday, March 6 at 6 p.m. meal; 7 p.m. worship at St. Peter’s Union. Joint service with Huff’s.

Choir practice starts in September. We have a Bell Choir, Cherub & Junior Choirs and a Senior Choir. Anyone interested in choirs may contact Mrs. Gloria A. Adams at 610-845-2744.

Huff’s will be having an Oyster & Wixon Shoo fly pie sale. Orders must be placed by Sunday, March 31. Pickup for the pies is Saturday, April 6 from 9 a.m. to noon in the chapel basement.

Maidencreek Church, 261 Main St., Blandon, on Sunday March 3 will celebrate Girl Scout Sunday at the 9 a.m. Worship Service. Girl Scouts from local troops will participate in the service.

March 6: 7 p.m. Lenten Service topic will be Daily Bread service includes an interactive sermon and communion. There is a meal from 5:30-6:30.

Maidencreek will hold a family-style chicken and pot pie dinner March 16, from 3 to 7 p.m. Donation to attend. Free for children under 6. Take-outs available.
